Cat Eats Plastic Toy: Sir Lancelot’s Story

When Sir Lancelot’s family went on holiday to New Brunswick, they returned to an alarming situation: the kennel reported that Sir Lancelot had been vomiting and not eating for his last couple of days there. Although it could have been just stress, Sir Lancelot’s family took him to the vet. Here things only got worse, and when he began projectile vomiting, they knew his condition was much more serious than originally assessed.

With their primary care veterinarian about to close for the day and lacking the equipment needed to treat Sir Lancelot, he was brought to the Ottawa Animal Emergency and Specialty Hospital for surgery.

Turns out, Sir Lancelot had eaten a plastic toy. But with OAESH’s help, he made a full recovery!
