Meet Lemmy! Lemmy’s family brought him into the clinic after noticing some worrying changes. He had become lethargic, was frequently vomiting, and had completely lost his appetite – three major red flags for any pet owner. Given Lemmy’s notorious history of eating things he shouldn’t, our team moved quickly to get to the bottom of his discomfort.
After a physical exam, we performed X-rays that confirmed our suspicions: Lemmy had a significant obstruction from a foreign body. He was rushed into emergency surgery, where our surgeons discovered the culprit, removing multiple pieces of rubber from his stomach.
Lemmy made a good recovery and is back home. Hopefully he will not try this again!
