Moka’s Survival Story

Moka, a beautiful Husky/Border Collie mix, is much beloved by her owner, Ben!

When Ben began noticing a large lump on Moka’s head, he was told it was likely just allergies.

But when the lump failed to get any better, he grew concerned enough to bring her in to OAESH for emergency care.

The Ottawa Animal Emergency and Specialty Hospital was here to help!

“I don’t know where else we could have found help at that time on a Sunday.” says Ben. “I was terrified to leave her. (…) But I gave them my trust, came back the next day and there she was!”

Moka made a full recovery.
